Introduction

This PBL (Project Based Learning) class focused on researching, designing, and prototyping mobility experience and user interaction in the era of convergence Metaverse. Breaking away from the existing traditional mobility approach, it is meaningful as a unique curriculum that cultivates the convergence thinking and ability to design while observing the brand environment, consumer lifestyle, and designing the service.

By developing a process that redefines mobility design with design-centered thinking, we tried to present it as a vision of the changing industry environment. 

The education goal is to incubate a multi-platform designer required by the 4th industrial age through the practice convergence towards characteristics of each major in XR Interaction design and Mobility design.

All projects proposed interaction, interface design and mobility interior design that representing innovative service design as a result of convergence thinking. In addition, various multimedia formats such as  AR, MR, VR Unity prototyping and digital animation video were used to implement service experience, interface examples, and interior design proposals.

 

소개글

본 PBL(Project Based Learning) 수업은 융복합 메타버스 시대의 모빌리티 경험과 사용자 인터랙션을 연구하고 구상하여 프로토타이핑 해보는것에 중점을 두었다. 기존의 전통적인 모빌리티 접근법에서 벗어나 브랜드 환경과 소비자의 라이프 스타일, 서비스를 종합적으로 관망하며 설계하는 융합적 사고능력을 배양하는 독보적인 커리큘럼에 의미가 있다. 

디자인 중심의 사고로 모빌리티 디자인을 재정의하는 프로세스를개발하여 변화하는 산업환경에 해답으로 제시하고자 하였다. XR (AR,VR,MR) 인터랙션 디자인, 모빌리티 디자인 각 전공별 특성을 살리면서도 조화롭게 융합시키는 연습을 통해 다가오는 4차산업 시대가 요구하는 멀티플렛폼 디자이너로 성장하는것이 목표이다. 

모든 프로젝트는 융합적인 사고의 결과로 혁신적인 서비스 디자인을 구현하는 AR, VR, MR,인터랙션, 인터페이스 디자인과 모빌리티 인테리어 디자인을 제안하고 그에 따른 서비스 경험과 인터페이스에 대한 예시, 인테리어 디자인 제안 등을 프레젠테이션, Unity 프로토타이핑, 3D 렌더링, 디지털 영상 등의 다양한 멀티미디어 포맷을 활용하여 구현하였다.  

 

Greetings

The convergence 1+1 PBL class of two majors in XR Interaction design and Mobility Studio design aims to practice the convergence design thinking of designers who ‘Speculate’ a new age experience.

Under the theme of ‘Luxury Mobility Life’ in the Metaverse digital convergence era, new experiences of autonomous driving mobility space and the possibility of technology interaction experiences were realized.

We are thrilled to release our students’ 12 facinating design work resulting from their endeavor in 2021 Fall semester.

Lastly, looking forward to the day when XR (eXtended Reality) Interaction experience and self-driving mobility service, which feel a little far away now, are experienced in our daily lives with excitement soon.

 

인사말

XR 인터랙션 디자인과 모빌리티 디자인 두전공의 융합 1+1 PBL 수업은 새로운 시대를 ‘예측’ 하고 그 경험을 창출해 내는 디자이너의 융복합적 디자인 사고를 실행하는데 목표를 두었습니다.

메타버스 디지털 융복합 시대의 ‘Luxury Mobility Life’ 라는 주제로 자율주행 모빌리티 공간의 새로운 경험과 테크놀러지 인터랙션 경험의 가능성을 구현 하였습니다.

2021년 가을학기 15주동안 학생들의 열정과 노력으로 만들어낸12개의 작품을 세상에 내놓으며, 가깝지만 아직은 조금 멀게 느껴지는 XR(eXtended Reality) 인터랙션경험과 자율주행 모빌리티 서비스가 매일의 우리삶에서 경험되는  날을 설레는 마음으로 기대해 봅니다.

Whether you are a student or a professional, I can assure you that these student works will inspire you and make you look forward to the future.

이번 프로젝트 품평에 참여하면서 다재 다능한 학생들의 작품을 보고 들으며 영향을 줄 수 있어 저 또한 좋은 기회였고 많은 영감이 되었습니다. 학생들의 럭셔리를 보는 다양하고 폭넓은 시선과유져들의 니즈를 채워줄 수 있는 흥미롭고 다양한 서비스를 볼 수 있어서 품평을 하며 즐거웠습니다. 각 프로젝트에서 애정과 수고가 느껴지며, 모빌리티를 이용한 럭셔리 서비스의 무궁무진한 미래를 엿볼 수 있었습니다. 학생들의 작품들이 여러분에게도 영감이 되고 미래를 기대하게 될 것을 확신합니다.
